Short: Shots from Amitech'98...behind the scenes Author: leo.flav@dataphone.se (Leo Flavum AKA Blonde Lion) Uploader: leo flav dataphone se (Leo Flavum AKA Blonde Lion) Type: pix/misc Architecture: generic Here I supply you with some (badly) scanned photos from Amitech'98 in Stockholm. Very nice little gathering that I (sad to say) think will be the last "alive" Amiga show around here. Of course there will be Amitech'99 but....I guess it will be more like a retroshow. The Amiga is dying slowly thanks to its owner. But anyway: here they are...and don't complain about the pix being too dark. It's not my fault. It's the one who scanned them: Big Jim/BLP. A1 (Stunned By AGA) -------------------- Isn't it amazing what a highend Amiga can do to people? A2 (BlondeTower) ----------------- A picture of me who was forced to carry Andreas "Real" Engström's huge towercase. What a job. A3 (Cloanto Brady Bunch) ------------------------- Me having a late night chat with Michael Battilana and his friend from Cloanto, the company behind Personal Paint and the noxious Amiga Magic emulator. A4 (Amiga RO Teatime) ---------------------- The night is continuing and the "stronger beverages" are commin' up. A5 (Amiga RO Teatime 2) ------------------------ The "teatime" goes on... A6 (SleepyReal) ---------------- A shot of Real just before he got out of his sleeping bag. Is it the wine or just plain fatigue? A7 (Dr Jones) -------------- Here we have Dr...eh...Mr Jones presenting the future of his Siamese. A8 (Sleeping On The Job) ------------------------ Caught in the act are 3 workers at the show having an unauthorized coffebreak. A9 (Amiga Baby) --------------- Our Swedish official Amiga baby. Ax10 (Real taking his medication) --------------------------------- This picture was ommitted since some people might find it unpleasant. Ax11 (The Hippielunch) ---------------------- The strange (but rather nice) people from ACG-Gävleborg caught in the act of eating. Ax12 (The Hippielunch 2) ------------------------ More eating hippies. Ax13 (Gathering at Real's) -------------------------- Perhaps the most visited act at Amitech'98 was Real's high performance Amiga 4000. No other computer at the show could match it. BTW: in the background you can see our Dave Haynie look-alike Peo. Ax14 (Petro) ------------ Me and Petro Tyschtschenko Ax15 (ProudPosePPC) ------------------- Walkir gloriously posing with his latest purchase: a PPC board. Now enjoy...
