Short: Ear-training program for music students. Author: ms0p@andrew.cmu.edu (Mike Shapiro) Uploader: ms0p andrew cmu edu (Mike Shapiro) Type: mus/misc Architecture: m68k-amigaos This program generates musical quizzes for music students or others who wish to sharpen their ear-training, and, to a lesser extent, music theory skills. The program offers the following tests: Interval Singing: MET specifies intervals. You sing them. Sight Singing: MET draws notes. You sing them. Dictation: MET plays notes. You write them. Chord Spelling: MET specifies a chord by key, function, and inversion. You spell it. Chord Indentification: MET plays a chord. You identify its type. There's a full graphic interface and variable difficulty levels. It's not amazingly sophisticated, but it works.
