Short: V1.73 Moon-phase prog. Works with VisualPrefs. Author: silverscope@connectfree.co.uk (Tim Pattison) Uploader: silverscope connectfree co uk (Tim Pattison) Type: misc/sci Version: 1.73 Architecture: m68k-amigaos This is MoonDial V1.73. A small Workbench program created using Blitz Basic 2.1. I designed this program for the reason that there are no other programs on Aminet that show the moons phase, which are small enough to run on Workbench without wasting memory, or taking up too much screen space. MoonDial is ideal for someone who is interested in astronomy, but is probably not accurate enough for the serious astronomer. Even if you have no interest in astronomy, MoonDial looks great on any Workbench and takes up minimal memory. This program is designed to be placed in the WBStartup directory of Workbench, so you can see the moon's phase every time you boot up your Amiga. VISUALPREFS USERS: MoonDial V1.73 now works with custom border sizes. Main updates since last upload (V1.71): - Fixed window border size detection. - Tested with VisualPrefs. - Faster phase-rendering routine. - Window can be dragged without using dragbar - Borderless option. New since V1.62: - Now saves the correct position on large screens. - Should be more accurate for longer with the new algorithms. - The title bar clock was eating away RAM every second whilst auto update was on! Had to remove it. :-( - Uses tooltypes. DISCLAIMER ~~~~~~~~~~ This program is freeware, so no donations are required. Redistribution is allowed if the package is left unchanged.
