Short: GUI filefind using size & wildcards Author: tsprague@ucsd.edu(Todd Sprague) Uploader: tsprague ucsd edu(Todd Sprague) Type: disk/misc Architecture: m68k-amigaos This is a SHAREWARE GUI-based file finder I wrote because I wanted to know how much space certain types of files were taking on my harddrive. Once started, it recursively searches through all the directories below the one you start it in looking for files that match the pattern you give it. It also has a "minimum size" feature that allows you to get an idea of how many big files exist under a certain path. (e.g. pictures you thought you deleted that are taking up too much space ;-) ) Lastly, it allows you to select any valid DOS file to receive the output. Although a console window is the default, should work fine with PRT:, DF0:outputfile, etc... FindCount works from either CLI or Workbench, on OS 1.2 or higher. This archive, FindCount.lha, may be distributed under the following conditions: 1. Nothing except reasonable media fees may be charged. (i.e. Fish Disks, Aminet CD are OK) 2. Neither the files nor the archive may be altered in any way. --------------------------------------------------------------------------
