Short: Several door sources in Amos to play with Author: Colin Wilson (phoenixbbs@cableinet.co.uk) Uploader: Colin Wilson (phoenixbbs cableinet co uk) Type: comm/maxs Architecture: m68k-amigaos Mainly coded by Colin Wilson, Sysop of Amiga Phoenix BBS 0151 252 1282 If any code in these is 'borrowed' from someone elses doors, hey, tough :-) Nah... if it helps anyone to code for Maxs / new Amigas when they appear, it's all worthwhile :-) OK, quick idea what each does... (sorry, the full docs should be in the archives on aminet for most of 'em) Feel free to pinch routines for other doors you want to write etc. cwdl - raw download door fake_cli2 - fixed cli door, allows DIR, CD to work, NOTHING ELSE It's a safe, user-input parsed cli prog freedownload - free download door Maxs_secure24 - a configurable security door (latest version I did) multimax21 - a voting door (released as Maxpoll) privateaxs - a secure pre-set-up users *only* allowed door pshow - the simplest door ever ! Show a bulletin on login rs - a configurable read your logfiles online door scriptexec - a small test for running scripts from within Amos slowtext3 - I think this was the latest... prints text slowly from within Maxs - configurable for speed within the output file, allows ansi codes to be embedded trans41finished - an online arcade game - Transversion trans41wb - the workbench version of same, with speed settings uddermaxs - a mail door, lets you write mail to a communal area that only the sysop can delete (some b@stard deleted mail I wanted left online for all users so I wrote this) user_to_ram2 - dumps the user's name to ram: - i've got another version somewhere that spools it to BBS: so if the BBS ever crashes, I know who the last person online was so I could ask what happened... All these use the Amos extension by Ari Tsironis (it's better than Kewldoors) Greets to : Kryten, Kaos, Warpig, Glen Martin, and anyone else who is keeping the BBS scene alive (ie NOT Niki Jerkit (Murkett?))
