Short: A Text Stereogram generator Author: Joseph E. Van Riper III Uploader: jvanriper uncavx unca edu Type: text/misc Architecture: m68k-amigaos Long: mk3d is a stereogram generator that works with text. Given an input file, it'll output a bunch of text characters that can show a 3-d image to anyone willing to view the thing wall-eyed. This program is an update (basically, a bugfix), with perhaps one minor enhancement (level 4 character selection is now considerably better). This program is based on similar code I found for MS-DOS on Usenet a couple of years ago. I had to completely rewrite it, since that code was written in C, and I don't have a C compilor installed on my system (too much memory.. I only have a 40 meg harddrive ). Anyway, if you're looking for super-defined images, dream on. This works with text, and so its definition is as blocky as you'd expect if you had to work strictly with characters. But, the cool this about this program is that you can create your images to be viewed from within messages, if you want. - Trey
