Short: It has never been hip to be square. Author: -whiskas@geocities.com (Daniel Hansen) Uploader: -whiskas geocities com (Daniel Hansen) Type: pix/wb Version: 2.0 (08.12.1998) Architecture: generic This is the follow-up to my previous grab; "Whiskas-Opus.jpg". The changes from last time are: - I've drawn two new disk icons since last; a strange planet- thingie, and a organic-looking thing which is supposed to resemble.. a thing that plays audio. :) - I've drawn mp3 buttons (right above the Dashboard monitors in the bottom left corner), that communicates with my mp3 player and DOpus using arexx. - I now use a Dashboard project that lays on top of my titlebar, finally giving me the possibility to do what I want with it. Even an analouge clock :) It doesn't cover the titlebar complely, because I need the screendepth gadget available. - I have made patterns for Birdie, which has closing gadgets drawn on them. The only problem is that patterns become really big, and therefore memory consuming. But I really like the way it looks, and the possibilities of further design. - I've made the ImageFX arexx scripts I was planning last time. Now I can take any picture and the script will make the area around the bottom icons all tranparantly grey and nicely curved. - I now use a 24-bit 1040x768 screen. It's a strange width, but it is better suited my monitor than 1024. - Just one last remark; this is not a fake. It's a pure grab of my Directory Opus screen. I've just added one detail to the grab, the coloured version of the bottom helmet icon. The reason I had to do this, was that I could not active this button and display magicmenu at the same time. (All the grey icons become coloured when selected.) You'll find these icons, and my dashboard projects at http://members.xoom.com/whi/desktop.html
