Short: 5 Enterprise images rendered with Imagine 2.0 Architecture: generic These 5 HAM images are renderings of the Enterprise from "Star Trek: The Next Generation". The imagine object is over 1MB in size, not including the many texture maps. An Amiga 3000 with 10MB of ram was used to produce the renderings. These images are a preview of the 24bit animation that is in the final stages of production. The animation will be a reprouction of the intro sequence to "Star Trek: The Next Generation". The VideoToaster is being used as a 24bit display buffer for the sony betacam single frame recorder. A DCTV version of the animation (which will probably require vast amounts of memory to play) may be produced at a later date. The Enterprise object was modeled by Trevorr Morris, while the planet objects and fly-thru sequence is being modeled by Tony Gilchrist and Darren Reid.
