For each pre-driver one or more external drivers may exist (but only can be used during an AL16 session). The pre-driver has limited knowledge of the board's hardware. It doesn't know how to 'program' the board but it knows which kind of 'data' the board can easily manage. The pre-driver uses the AL16 DSP tools to map AL16 audio tracks to board-friendly streams regarding samplepoint formats, number of physical D/A converters, signal clocks,... A ToccataOut pre-driver is available in AL16. It requires an external ToccataOut driver to work with. --- How to use this --- - Set the AL16 tooltype OUT_DRIVER to ToccataOut. - Put the ToccataOut driver into AL16's Drivers directory to allow AL16 to automatically run it - Run AL16 and use any playback function you like. - Quit AL16 to quit the driver. The driver's executable name must be 'ToccataOut'. Peter Urbanec peteru@aristocrat.com.au Union Box 12 PO Box 173 Tel: (Work) +61 2 693 0586 Kingsford NSW 2032 Fax: (Work) +61 2 313 4290 AUSTRALIA
