Short: "Goanna", an aboriginal goa-trance mod. Author: Bobby Clark Uploader: bobclark freenet scri fsu edu Type: mods/med Requires: Octamedplayer 5.X or above, or something which plays .MMD1 meds. Architecture: generic Distribution: No worries, mate ... This time, B.C. Productions goes Down Under ... Name of this composition: "Goanna" Style: Goa-Trance techno, with an aboriginal flavour. Influences: The one main influence here is Homer J.'s med entitled "Continuum" ... loads of his sequencer sounds, plus the percussive bass and handclaps, were lifted from this med, and the style proved very inspirational. Well, this is my first attempt at a Goa-trance styled mod. Actually, I think it turned out really well! The didgeridoo samples really give it a unique personality. The "WAW" didge sample was lifted off a didgeridoo instructional website, in which the webmaster used samples of himself playing a real didgeridoo. I don't think he'll mind how his playing was used. *grin* A huge debt owed to: Teknique, Colitis, and others, for testing my meds ... Saraba, for emotional support and for converting that "WAW" didge sample from .WAV to .IFF for me ... Homer J., for the Continuum med ... Gateway 2000, for buying Amiga Technologies. Let's hope you do better than that commode door company! E-mail, as always, is welcome: bobclark@freenet.scri.fsu.edu
