Short: Mesa OpenGL software emulation Author: brianp@ssec.wisc.edu (Brian Paul), victorng@dgp.toronto.edu (Victor Ng) Uploader: victorng dgp toronto edu (Victor Ng-Thow-Hing) Type: misc/x11 Architecture: m68k-amigaos Mesa is a software emulation of the popular OpenGL application programmer's interface for 3D computer graphics. It can handle gouraud shading, NURBS, polygons, Z-buffer, and other graphic goodies. I have included the original Mesa distribution, with special instructions for the Amiwin version. VERSION 1.2.5 SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS I have provided static link libraries for a 68040/68882 equipped Amiga. However, if you have SAS/C, you can edit the Smakefile and recompile to whatever cpu configuration you have. You will need the REGISTERED version of Amiwin to link in the X libraries (another reason to register!). Get the development kit for Amiwin at your local aminet site. Some of the example sources will require unix type includes and functions such as sys/time.h, sys/types.h and sleep(). Several development kits such as AmiTCP4.0's contain linkable libraries that emulate these functions and contain the required header files. PRICE Freeware. DISTRIBUTABILITY Gnu Public License
