Short: Small Psion-Bitmap-*.PIC-Viewer Author: Marko Schuster (ns103@fim.uni-erlangen.de) Uploader: arost informatik uni-erlangen de Type: gfx/show Architecture: m68k-amigaos Viewpic v1.0 by Marko Schuster 1994 - Public Domain ViewPic is a small Psion-Bitmap-*.PIC-Viewer for the Amiga. It is a small hack, written in GFA-Basic, so it's not very fast. But it's better than nothing of course :) If a picture contains one Bitplane, it will be drawn in black/white, if it contains two, the picture will be shown in black/grey/white. Black, Grey and White are from the original WB2.0+-Colors. Usage: viewpic Note: Do not add spaces after the filename Note: There's no error handling. If the picture won't fit on the screen, the programm will abort cause the window-open-command. Note: Pictures with more than 2 bitmaps aren't supported. If a 2nd bitmap exists, it is always assumed to be the grey bitmap for the first one. I've made it to view my large collection of converted b/g/w-PICs on my Amiga, so I don't think, there will be future versions - at least not in GFA-Basic. Maybe I (or someone else) could programme a better and faster pic-viewer (and thereby a from/to iff-converter). Bugs? Hm.. I hope I've fixed all now. I've got no troubles with viewing my 180 .PIC-Files (and 70 .ICN-Files :) ) - so I think it should work o.k. It was programmed & tested on my CDTV (1.3) and also tested on my A4000/30 (3.0). So have fun with it. :) ..bye.. ns103@fim.uni-erlangen.de / BBS (german): 0911/3939034
