Short: Dedicated icon database manager, v1.0 Author: Martyn Davis Uploader: Martin Schulze (schulze phil uni-sb de) Type: gfx/misc Architecture: m68k-amigaos What is it? ============== IdB is a dedicated icon database manager. It allows you to store, catalog, archive, etc, collections of icons in a user-friendly manner. It is compatable with all icon systems; MagicWb, IconGFX, NewIcons etc. (Please note that NewIcon support requires the Newicons patch and library installed, get the full package from Aminet or your local PD supplier.) Requirements: ============== Wb3.0 or above (Come on Viscorp lets have 4.0!) 2MB Ram minimum (The more RAM the larger the database!) HardDrive (Not quite essential but IdB works best from one!) Restrictions: ============== This version of IdB is SHAREWARE, however, I don't like major restrictions being enforced on the user. Some shareware programs have so many restrictions/annoying requesters that they are unusable, and if you can't get a feel if you are wanting to use the program how can you know whether it's worth registering or not? The only restriction I place on IdB is that you can only save out the first 50 icons in any IdB database file. This should allow you to see if you like the program and that it is worth registering. Registering: ============= If you would like the full IdB program then either: Send £6 (pounds sterling cash) or Send £5 (pounds sterling cash) AND a blank disk or (It is quite safe to send cash in a strong envelope, coins should be cellotaped to a piece of card!) Send cheque/postal order for £9 (£8 with a disk) to: Martyn Davis 450 Roughwood Road Wingfield Estate ROTHERHAM South Yorkshire ENGLAND S61 4LA I'm sorry it's snail mail only for now, but I'm working on getting connected - registrations help! If you want to order from abroad, then please allow enough currency value to compensate for having to exchange currency/International Money Orders etc.
