Short: 1999 demo of a space station game Author: Digital Images Uploader: aminet aminet net Type: game/demo Architecture: m68k-amigaos Digital Image's 'Space Station 3000' was supposed to have the player manage a commercial space station. Development started in 1998, but the game got cancelled in May 2000. The management simulation would have been spiced up with various sub games, including a 3D FPS shooter, which would have been driven by Marbley Eyes 'Genetic Species' engine that had been licensed by Digital Images. This demo version of 'Space Station 3000' was released in April 1999, but it only contains a glimpse at the FPS part - i.e. a cut down version of Genetic Species. The actual management part was never shown to the public.
