Short: Recover - An easy file recovery program for 2.x, by Greg Cunnigham. Architecture: m68k-amigaos Recover only works with AmigaDOS 2.0 or higher, so if you're not up with the rest of us, don't download this. This is a demo version, lacking the sort, search, and a few other functions that you will see in a future version of DiskMaster, but it does work and no limitations have been placed on it. I'm not going to say what the other function are as that Dopuss guy likes to steal my ideas as quickly possible. :) How to use it... Recover will recover recently deleted files, or try to recover as much of a mangled file as possible. The program is designed to be simple. Run it. Select a device. Select a file. Select a file... First you will see a list of volumes. Single-click on one of these, and watch the pretty status bar. Click on the ABORT button at any time to stop the scan. Once that is done, you will see every file on the device deleted or not. Single-clicking any file will copy it to the destionation path which is in a string gadget located in the bottom right of the window. The default is RAM: but you may change it to anything you want as long as you don't specify the device that you are currently recovering from which could overwrite your deleted files. To quit the program simply click on the close box. Enjoy it, have fun, and Merry Christmas (92) If you find any problems you can contact me on Portal as BaudMan or Internet: BaudMan@cup.portal.com
