Short: V1.32, a FidoNet tosser for UMS and *.msg Author: billing@df.lth.se (Johan Billing) Uploader: billing df lth se (Johan Billing) Type: comm/fido Version: 1.32 Architecture: m68k-amigaos Description ============ Welcome to CrashMail, a full-featured mail-processor ("tosser") for the Amiga. CrashMail has all the features you can expect in a good tosser and is easy to configure with the comfortable settings editor CrashPrefs. Many hours of work have been put into CrashMail to make it as powerful, stable and easy to use as possible. CrashMail can be used on a node as well as on a point system with high demands and can use both UMS and *.msg messagebases. CrashMail is a Shareware program. This version ============ These are the changes since version 1.31: - When CrashMail encounters a corrupt message in a packet file, it now also logs the offset of the message in the file so that you can find it more easily if you want to check it out with a file editor. - The nodelist is now only open when CrashMail is actually tossing and not when it is just waiting for an ARexx command. This should make it possible to compile Gotcha nodelists without exiting CrashMail. - When exporting several messages with attributes from UMS, attributes from the previous messages would be transferred to the following messages. This has now been fixed. - CrashPrefs did not give a warning when you tried to quit CrashPrefs without saving the settings after a string in CrashPrefs/UMS had been changed. There was also the same problem with the checkboxes in CrashPrefs/AreaFix. - When renaming a packet file to ".bad", CrashMail now makes sure that it uses a unique name for the file. In earlier versions of CrashMail, an already existing file with the same name would have been overwritten. - Included the AmigaCC.rexx script by Björn Poppe. This is an alternative to the CC-All.rexx script by Fredrik Bennison. - CrashMail can now remove areas when your uplink disconnects from it at your AreaFix. See "Remove area when feed disconnects" in CrashPrefs/AreaFix, "When area is removed" in CrashPrefs/Nodes and the new command-line argument and ARexx command REMOVE. - CrashMail has not worked properly with UMS V10 since version 1.30. From this version on, CrashMail will refuse to use UMS V10. - There is a new option in CrashPrefs/AreaFix called "Include forward-requestable in lists". If you activate this setting, CrashMail will also include all areas that can be forward- requested in the area lists generated by the AreaFix. If it is deactivated, only areas in the local configuration will be included.
